Firstly, Hi everyone... Took a break from M2 for a few weeks, came back & panicked for a day cos it had apparently disappeared
Now it's back and looks bigger than ever... I had 45 pages of new threads to choose from when I logged in. Heaven or hell?!
Anyway, my questions... I'm hoping to upgrade my stock 195/55 16 runflats for 205/50 16 in a higher performance spec, and have become aware of the Goodyear F1 GS-D2 in its EMT (runflat) form. The standard version of this won a major tyre test in Evo magazine this month
Has anyone tried it in either runflat or std form, preferably on a MINI?
I'm trying to get hold of these in runflat form in Oz, but may have problems... Does anyone know if running without a spare using non-runflats is street legal in Oz? Presumably in this case you take a can of that injection gunk as a hopeful fix for minor punctures
If I do switch out of runflats - and the weight saving is an attraction here too - My other contender is the Toyo Proxes T1S, as recommended by Garfield I think. Anyone got these on a MINI yet?
Answers to one or more of these rubbery questions will be gratefully recieved
Thanks all...
Rich
