My 04 MCS that I picked up last Tue with no modification is also being run in at the moment. My average consumption is approximately 8.5 km/l with both city and highway driving with A/C running. But I was driving what I thought to be pretty conservatively at generally 3000 rpm with bursts of 3500-4000 rpm for overtaking. I am going to up the general rpm limit to 4000-4500 this week (600 km) and see if the consumption will differ.
