Silver/alloy interior trim options - Uncoordinated?

Having sat in a variety of Ones, Coopers and S's over the past few weeks, I've come to the conclusion that the only interior trim option that is properly coordinated is the Brilliant Silver.

With BS the gloss-finish door ovals match the dash, the speedo and the rev counter; and the matt-finish door pulls, in a similar shade as brilliant silver, match the centre console pillars, the speakers, ash-tray, gear stick base etc. It all looks "together".

With the standard anthracite trim, the gloss-finish is restricted to the dash and the matt-finish ancillaries are in a similar, dark metallic shade. All of which looks quite classy. Inexplicably, however, the Rev counter casing is Brilliant Silver gloss!

The Cooper S' Alloy Patina door ovals and dash look great, BUT the Speedo and Rev counter are Brilliant Silver Gloss and the other ancillaries are all brilliant silver matt-finish!

Does anybody else think these could have been better coordinated?

Does anybody have any suggestions for other options, like the "Individual" range for the BMW-Series cars? Not necessarilly just for the trims mentioned above, but maybe some other TWO-tone leather options for the Sport seats, alternative door and interior cladding colours, or even exterior body colours (I saw a "Brass Metallic" offered in the "Individual" catalogue, for example - wild...or should that be weird?)
