There will be wires around the BC1 (passenger footwell) which drive the exterior lights and so do not pulse.
Or, we could probably make a diode/cap filter to wire inline between the pulsing dim signal and the head unit. Or you could just connect the wire so that the backlight is always on at full brightness.
