Yes they go over the existing seats. I have leatherette underneath. I, like you, did not care for the red doors. The red interior was not available on the '04 S anyway. So when I ordered the pepper white S, I ordered the factory seat covers.
They look perfect in the back seat. One piece covers the entire bottom of the back seat. You must remove it but it was easy. There is an individual piece for each upper back half and a head rest cover for each of those. I have to say the hardest part of installation was the upper back seat...very tight fit. |
