Anyone know if the Britax Marathon or the Recaro Young Sport car seats fit in the back seat?
The Marathon looks quite big in the store... & no Roundabouts in Toronto yet.
I can't even check out the Recaro in the flesh as stores don't carry them 'round here... I was thinking of ordering it on-line if someone can confirm there are no fitting issues in our small cars (by North American standards anyways :D ). The Recaro looks much much better than the one & only Britax they sell here.

Canada mate, different products, different regulations, different laws;)
But its strange that I actually spent a couple of hours this week reading a bit about their regs, but I wouldn't give any advice on stuff their yet, as I am confident in knowing the differences yet or the products:o

I fit a marathon in my convertible. The problem with it was it sticks out from the seat pretty far so there wasn't a lot of room for the little ones legs. Unless you mover the front seat forward.

I have the RECARO Start booster seat, and it works great for my 5 year old son.
I ordered it online and requested to ship it to Niagara Falls, where I picked it up and installed in the car.
Than I scrumbled a cookie all over it and drove back through customs to Toronto.
Great construction and comfort. My son falls asleep sooner and sleeps longer than in the Britax we had before.

Have been using a Britax Roundabout rear-facing in our '03 MCS for more than a year now w/ no problem. Latched behind front passenger seat, so that person has to move up a bit, but I'm nearly 6' and can sit comfortably. Roundabout should be readily available online.

The Recaro car seat Start meets the most demanding safety standards. The only thing you should note is that it is heavier than other boosters because aluminum frames weigh more than plastic. Due to the extra bit of weight, it is required that you use the provided Tether at all times.
