Had a trade in price for my D at the weekend and wondered if anyone fancied a guess at the figure! I have checked cherished and cannot find a D with high enough miles to compare. Dealer says cherished price would be £1200 higher than p/x.

Chilli Red with white vipers.

Go on, have a guess....

Sorry Aston but the part x was in fact......£7500 as per the guess of ollymale.

I was a bit suprised tbh, I'm sure it would be on the forecourt for more than £8700!

Do you reckon this is a fair p/x??

At that figure I would walk away from a p/x, surely you will getter a better price private , even 9K.
Got 10k p/x for mine in April with 33k on the clock( with a few learner scrapes as well ).
Just as an aside hows it gone since you piled on the miles ? Any pads/tyres/alternators ?

Was it a D?

A few leaner signatures on the wheels, new tyres at 25K, new pads at 30k and 1 alternator.

Cannot fault it really.

Looking forward to the new engine on my new one due in Nov.

Yer it was a D , I also had pads at 29k , tyres ok but 3 alternators.
Replaced it with another D ;)

Sell it to one of your customers, you must know loads! Everyone who says they like it, ask them if they want to buy it!

I sold my original Cooper tuition car for £ 7500 private, dealer offered £ 6 K, so it really is worth selling it yourself.
Get the P/X value and add a grand on the advert, anything is better than nothing and it will be in your pocket not the dealer's.
Will be selling my 2 year old One D myself at the end of next year privately !!!
