Has anyone test driven a Cooper Works conversion? Is the John Cooper garage worth a visit?:)

Costs a bit though... A few of us went to the Works in April - some piccies availablehere (http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6210&highlight=jcw); although there's not agreat deal to see there, we had a good time inc a talk from Mike Cooper. If it's not too far from where you are, it's quite a nice drive and there are some good roads down that way. Twas very nice, a bit more pokey, lovely exhaust note, but I wasn't a fan of the bodykit, far too wideboy nova for my liking! It does give the Cooper a bit more umph around 70mph to 80mph range, and sounded a bit more throaty too.
