Has anyone fitted one to their MINI?? Just wondering if the dash area beneath the speedo interferes with the screen etc?

The petrol/temp gauge are hidden when they are open. I just flick the close button if I need to check my fuel

Cheers Mikey, does the cheaper of the 3 Kenwoods have a choice of menu colours etc to match the dash lighting? Do you have the iPod adapter?

You can select the colour of the buttons & there are various wallpapers for the screen
BuT even better - put in a CD with JPEGS on it & you can have a pic of your car as the wallpaper whilst listening to radio, ipod etc :)

Anyone else got one of these? What are the odds on my MINI getting broken in to every 5 minutes if I get one?

Mike has all the correct adapters that will work with your screen, he is the master of ICE. I highly recommend him :) The Kenwood Nav is amazing; Postcode input, and hundreds of POI its a gem for me when im doing mini runs or meeting one of the many hoes ;) btw dont watch pron whilst on the motorway made that mistake too many times :D
Keeps us updated on what you go with :)

Mike - Whats your best price on 627 with iPod adapter, HK adapter, aerial adapter and face plate adapter?

Looks like I have settled on the JVC KD-AVX. Not seen a bad report about it and cant really justify the extra costs to go for a 7" screen.

There are some bargain prices around on the JVC - £349.99
