My Mini S is waiting to go on the boat to the West Coast.

I've heard conflicting things that you can only track vehicles going to the East Coast not to the West. Is this true?

Also does anyone know how long the trip from the UK to California really takes. I'm getting my Mini from Mini Of Murray and it was released for shipping on November 23rd.

Any one have an idea of how long before it really ships and once in California how long till it would be in Utah?

The worse part is the waiting. I know you can feel my pain.

Has anyone else had issues with the VIN not working on the Auto Cargo Tracking web site?

My mini is due in CA on Jan 15, NYK Lines, Boat Blue Hawk. Maybe we are on the same boat? My vin has not worked on any site nor have I been able to track the boat on any of the other mentioned sites. Dealer gave me boat name, cruise # and bill #.

I spoke with NYK lines today, they advised me that the BLUE HAWK will arrive in Pt Hueneme, CA on January 17, 2006 and the cars will be offloaded on the 18th. They advised me that there is not a website where this ship can be tracked.

The Bluehawk is will be moving through the Panama Canal in the next 24hrs, you can see the ships location on the AISLIVE.COM website. You can also watch it move through the Panama Canal via webcam at pancanal.com. Enjoy!

Congrats! How did the delivery at Mini of Murray go? A buddy bought from NW Mini here in Seattle. The car was all prepared and zipped into a big bag. They made quite a show of it unzipping the bag to present his Mini, then spend over an hour explaining everything and going over the car with him.

I plan road trip from Murray to Seattle via central Idaho when I take delivery in early March.
