I can recommend Zaino Z2 pro. It's a polish not a wax, but will make your mini look better than when it was new. Although it will need a damn good wash first :aargh: .

Yup, I second that.

My bottle of Z2 Pro arrived today along with my Z8 grand finale detailing spray......if it wasn't still below freezing here I'd be slapping a few coats on as we speak. Role on Spring.

Zaino gets my vote every time. Expensive but worth it.

I am about to order stuff from Griot's (http://www.griotsgarage.com/index.jsp). I hear it is the best stuff out, used by Ferrari owners and stuff. I did a search a long time ago about washing your MINI and that is what the author used. I can also reccomend THIS (http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthread.php?t=107466&highlight=wax)thread

Meguirs NXT Tech Wax. Easy to use, good price, and excellent finish. Stiil the best car in the works car park... even better than the brand new 06 reg cars! *so proud* ;)

What would you use on the black arches, as i can never get them to glow like the showroom?

I actually don't bother with expensive wax's.....

After washing I use AutoGlym Super Resin Polish followed by AutoGlym Extra Gloss Protection....

The results are always stunning.

Example ;) (http://www.jonathanspriggs.co.uk/carwash/DSCF0049.JPG)

I have loads of waxes etc, i dont mean the £40 plus ones as i would never pay that. I rather like i do pay £100 for lots of different products. My fave at the moment which includes an expensive ingrediant is the BMW MINI car care products. £30 for a bag full of products. But i have all sorts. I wash the car every weekend for 3 plus hours.

I use P21S. No residue . You can layer-great shine-easy to use-ok durability.Use it on top of Klasse all-in-one.
One Grand ERV for exterior vinyl trim.

Meguiar's NXT is the best I've used (and I have a half dozen other half-empty bottles in the garage).

I've had great experience with Klasse - but this is a very personal preference area, and the Zymol/Zaino/Meguiars/Klasse discussions can be endless.

My goal is paint protection and don't particularly need the deepest shine or the glossiest paint. Nice shine, nice gloss and great protection is my goal... all without too much effort - I can't spend an entire day polishing & waxing. Klasse seems reasonably good for me. Others very may well be better though and I'm always checking out what's available.
