: MCSa gearshifter pinch

Have a little over 1,000 miles on my new MCSa, and love it. However, I've noticed that the lockout lever on the front of the shifter tends to pinch my finger unless I grab it just the right way. No biggie, just an annoyance, but I wondered if anyone else has noticed this...

I haven't had any problems with it pinching me unless I accidently hold it the wrong way. I did it a few times, when I first got the car. :D

I hold my hand over the top, slightly tilted off to the passenger side, like a baseball.

Grip may be my problem...I tend to grab the shifter like it was a baseball bat, rather than a baseball. I'll try it your way for a while :)

Gabe (http://www.motoringfile.com/) criticized this in his first MCSa review, so you're not the only one - but I've never had any issue and can't even figure how to hold the shifter so that it would be an issue for me.
But I also hold it from "on top"

We all have our own style to grab the shifter eh...I haven' pinched my hand yet.
