I have heard in the past that people have complained about how far south it was??? And this year some people have said too far north??? Well we all have MINIs and they love to be driven - so let's make it scotland or the lake district and then we all have a lovely long way to drive :D

Why not hold next years event at Brennand Farm, about five miles north-west of Dunsop Bridge, in Lancashire.

According to the Ordnance Survey this is supposed to be the dead centre of Great Britain factoring in all its 401 associated islands.

The exact point - grid reference SD 64188.3 56541.43 - there is no monument or sign. It is just an undistinguished clump of grass surrounded by peat bog.

There then could be no argument from anyone that it is too far north/south etc and the venue would be a lot cheaper if some what lacking in facilities :p :biggrin:
