G,Day MINI'ers

The club i belong to for Solo II was having a lapping day at one of the tracks nearby as well as a race school on the weekend.

I'm not planning to do much more with the car than Autocross so didn't attend the race school but though it would be exiting to actually to drive it on the track.
It was a lot of fun, here is a clip of one lap of the track...

I also used the GTech to track the laps but still have some work to do before I can interpret the results...

Keep us updated on upcoming Shannonville events... I want to get out to that track some day. I'll have to wait until after work to check out the video, though.

Nice track NH, the company i work for is out of Portsmouth and I drive down once in a while for trainning.

Maybe I'll try to come down on a weekend and attend one of your events !

We (the Sports Car Club of Vermont) have something that is close to you guys, too. We run some time attack style events at Saint Lawrence Motorsports Park in Morristown, NY, just across the river from Ottawa. It's a tiny track (3/4 mile), but a lot of fun.

I don't have my NHIS dates picked yet, but a few people up north have mentioned that they are interested in coming down some time, so I'll pick some dates soon and let people know.
