My first Mini was finished yesterday. How long does it take to get from Oxford to the US East coast?

I ordered mine just over 3 months ago and it arrived yesterday. My first one also. Can't wait to pick it up. I think it depends when the next shipment leaves the factory. Mine sat on the dock I believe for almost 3 weeks waiting for the next shipment to go. Torture just wiating for things to move along. What specs did you get on yours.

I ordered a chili red convertible with lots of chrome, black top and black leather interior. It was finished on Monday and is awaiting transport to the port. I am acting like a child waiting for this thing.

Totally random roll of the dice on how long you might be at Southampton waiting for a ship, there truly seems to be no logic to it, no FIFO. My first MINI waited 16 days, my second one waited 14 hours. No rhyme or reason to it. My current car completed production on 4/10/06 and I picked it up from my dealer on 4/27/06. That's just about the best-case scenario. First one completed production on 6/26/02 and I picked it up on 8/5/02. So somewhere within that range is what you can expect, between 17 and 40 days from production completion to picking it up at an east coast dealer.
