Is it possible to fit Sat NAv from a breakers car?? I've got the opportunity to get one but obviously I want to be sure before I bid on it. Any help/advice would be very much appreciated! :D :D

Be carefull on this one
First thoughts are you would need the screem, brain(dvd drive) wiring looms, rev counter/speedo, gps aerial, then if its from an early mini (shark fin) a rear side window & aerial splitter.
But I had a customer who got all these & ended up with a blank screen. - you also need the BC1 & some programming

haha, yeah!
This is from the auction.
ITEM LISTED IS A BMW MINI SAT NAV, DVD , GPRS SYSTEM REMOVED FROM A MINI COOPER S WE RECENTLY DISMANTLED FOR PARTS.
YOU WILL RECIEVE:
1 X SAT NAV DISPLAY SCREEN
1 X DVD GPRS UNIT & MOUNTING CASE
1 X SPEEDO \ REV COUNTER
PLUGS AND SECTION OF WIRING
ALL FULLY FUNCTIONAL WHEN REMOVED FROM VEHICLE BUT MAY REQUIRE REPROGRAMMING \ SET UP FOR USE IN YOUR CAR
I think it's from a fairly new car because it looks as if the clock is in the speedo display, mine's an 04/53 pre facelift car and my clock's in the headliner. What's the BC1? I was also wondering what the GPS aerial was in the newer cars?
