Hi all,

My January 2002 Cooper pulls to the left. I've had the tracking and tires checked, which are fine, so my attention has turned to the suspension. I know there was a problem with cars of this age having badly designed suspension, so I am trying to see if that could be the problem.

Could someone post a picture of the "old" style suspension struts and the replacement ones BMW issued under warranty so I can see which ones I have?

Edit: By the way, I have had a search, but the pictures in old posts appear to have been taken offline.

i think it was to do with the front left strut as bimmer did something to mine 2 years back and vaugly mentioned warranty and suspension when it was in for a service ;long befoure i knew anything about cars but have no pics and now you coulndt tell as there both filthy :p
