I have tried to photograph the dent but - being a white car - it is very difficult. Like all these things the damage is very minor but when it is your own car.......

The price on the Aero kit is very tempting. I've tried to contact my local dealer but I doubt they could match the price you quote. I will be in touch again very soon....

I have had no reply from my local supplying dealer regarding the Aero Kit but - after givig it some thought - what would it cost to have just the colour coded Aero side skirts and the black uppper/lower front grille supplied & fitted to my car? I actually quite like the standard MCS bumpers but if the saving is poor I'd probably go for the full kit....

As for the dent, I can just about reach it with my finger if I pull back the soundproofing under the bonnet so I think it may be a paintless dent repair after all. How much would that cost to rectify...?

I feel an expensive trip to sunny Blackpool coming on.......

The aero side skirts factory painted with black textured edges and JCW top sill trims would be £490.00 inc vat discount and fitting we could supply and fit the black aero grille set for £95.00
inc parts labour and vat,
your side skirts would take around four to six weeks for delivery as i order them factory painted
this works out cheaper and the finish is 100%,
the dent on your bonnet would be aprox £60 to £70 ish to repair its, difficult to quote without looking at the car

Had my Aero kit fitted to my MCS today at Derek Woodmans.

Massive thank you to Chris and all the folks there. Fantastic service and extremely helpful and pleasant people. I’ve been to at least 10 Mini dealers and they were by far the best I’ve been to. I'm sure i'll be returing at some point for more accessories!

However, I’m very upset as Chris showed me the latest Black Works alloys…I think they were R113? Absolutely stunning!!! I’d have been purchasing these if I hadn’t just had a new set fitted. Doh! :(

The spot lamp covers are £9.95 a pair,i have them in stock
If you want to fit the jcw trims to a standard exhaust you need to file down the raised sections inside the trim to make them fit onto the pipe, also when you put them on a standard exhaust they dont fit very well and tend to point down so you have a hugh gap at the top of the trims between the bumper,so if i were you i would leave the trims, i have seen a thread on here for the larger trims that were available in the US, these looked like they were a better fit if you just need the exhaust to look a bit better than the standard trims

We re paint the bumper and arch trims,unless there are any scatches or bad marks in the trims we would paint a new one,it works out a lot cheaper than trying to repair them
