In the time-honored memory of the road trip mixed tape, whether only driving one leg or all 3,123 miles of MTTS, why don't we each bring a CD (since not all of us have an iPod or MP3 player in our MINIs) of our favorite road trip music to exchange? Ideally you would get to hear a CD of music different than your own, mixed by a fellow MTTSer, each day of the event. Someone at the start could simply bring a box to return the CDs to and to select a new CD from at the beginning of each day's leg (maybe near the official registration point), and hand off the box of CDs to a new volunteer to manage the morning of each leg. Any takers?

Good idea! I have some MP3 CD-Rs with me that are available to share. :) All of my real CDs are back home in VA.

Cool, glad there's some interest! Afraid I may be too late to suggest anything organized.

Did I see on other MTTS postings that you're driving early on with Sin City MINI folks - looks like a great drive, that part of the country is beautiful? Think they might want to participate in the CD thing?
