often wondered why so many estate agents use minis and cover them in crap graphics?
what estate agents have you seen using minis or is it just a down south thing

I've seen loads of estate agents using the Mini as their company cars. Renault Megans are pretty common too.

Not got any in the Lakes :)

Premier Move Estate Agents down here in Herts have a fleet of Indi Blue/White coopers.

When they first got them; there was even an article about the Mini's in our local paper!

Geoffrey Mathews estate agents around stevenage use a mini. Does make me laugh though, coz i think one of the staff use it primarily for their own use. Why?

Coz it's got a baby seat in the Back...

I assume prospective customers dont use the back seat or they buy property at very early age around here:D

Both black and have aero kit fitted, look cool apart from the awful pink graphics and stripes.
I guess they use them as the car has kudos as the smart does if you run a flower delivery business...

Premier Move in Hitchin have two Black Eye Purple Convertibles - one COOPER and one COOPER S

Also Urban and Rural here in Luton have Hyper Blue COOPERS (they used to have Indi Blue i think)

There are a few estate agents around here who own MINIs personally... while viewing houses recently, three or four times the agent (a different one each time) has turned up in their own MINI. All Coopers too, not a single One or MCS.

I know there's an estate agency in Manchester who have at least one BEP MINI covered in yellow decals... can't remember what they're called though, but the car (one of them?) is often parked in the city centre on a Saturday. :)

They use them, or at least foxtons do, as they are one of the cheapest and easiest cars to signwrite (no B and C pillars etc. and they hold their value well.

Darlows in Neath and Swansea have MINI's

Ocean in Bristol have loads of them.

Used to be all pepper whie but think they are now changing them all to black.

Preece and Co here in Newbury/Thatcham have a fleet of yellow Minis covered in graphics - fair play to them though as they are all Cooper S with Chilli pack, so not your normal base models!

Loads of Estate Agents and Lettings Companies use Beetles and MINIs around our way.

Ludlow Thompson have a fleet of Beetles, bright yellow with blue wings, you often see those flying about in town.

Its a bit of a pain when you find all the agents cars parked up a road, in Wimbledon its up Woodside, its a nightmare as they take up most of the non resident spaces at that end of the road. Still I suppose thats the problem with the councils restricting the number of car parking spaces on commercial buildings these days.

i've seen lots of foxtons minis being pranged by dizzy late-teen foxtonites in and around london.

Don't get me started on some of those Foxton's Mini drivers!!! I had one driving very close to me (if he got any closer he would have needed a condom)! trying to race me at the weekend! He stood no chance as my super-charger took over and left him behind. He kept his distance after that!

There is an absolute barrage of Foxtons MINIs heading up the A316 into London every morning. I object to Estate agents desecrating the MINI's image - it should really be banned!

A friend of mine used to work for Foxtons, she had to leave because she wasn't dodgy enough to make all the sales they wanted and she also got black marks for writing one of the MINIs off! :eek:

Yeah they are a pretty tough company to work for, very corporate and not easy to do business with. I'm glad I didn't go into residential property in the end, commercial is so much more relaxed! I did 3 months placement with a firm of more traditional estate agents and I liked it, but even in that environment you get treated like a shark and it just wasn't for me.

I would say it's a smart move for these estate agents to use MINI's.

They look cool and after a couple of years use, remove the graphics and p/x them after retaining a hefty amount of their value. Makes sound business sense to me.

I hardly dare put myself in the same league but I run a commercial Property consultancy in birmingham and run a Hyper Blue MCSC which I think is ideal for getting around town. I havn't liveried it up yet nor am I going to.
