The big unveiling was 2pm....

I expect that will take a bit of time, then the other cars will come out onto display. There will be a huge frenzy as people, suits and journos scramble to get shots of the cars.

Then Paul has to try and upload the photos, internet conditions at the show sounded pants!

just had a look at the pictures and a colour really looks good on that car, not so keen on the pics we've seen in Black. The mirrors still annoy me tho! :p

Wonder if the Yellow one will be a surprise ie The Works :)

Nightmare with the internet connections here, not even funny!

Anyway, more photos soon and that will be the last from Paris, and again it will be a "camera dump" as the others have been.

I am aiming to get more detail online tonight when I return.

I have some video and the people on the MINI stand have been very helpful, although please don't get your hopes up too high, I've got lighting videos, but it was VERY bright in there to start with, and I've not even seen how they look full screen yet.

I liked the boards that let you explore your MINI, the idea of yellow colourline in a DS car is an interesting one:)

Its growing on me and there are some nice touches in there like making the boot bigger by losing the cubbies been doing that one for a while. I like the seats, the door liners and the dash is functionaly stylish.

Whats that silver oval oposite the starter button fob set? an ashtray?
Its were the fob starter would be on a right hand drive surley not a right hand left hand drive blanking plate very old mini. :)

This is all so exciting! I'm so glad I haven't made any decisions about what I like as I like so much of what I've seen so far! I really like the new Gravity beige leather and the punch is looking really good too. Would have liked to have seen the lounge leather though!

I'll try and sneak around on Sunday when I go and see if I can find the yellow one! Strange that they didn't bring it out for the press?

I'm guessing that the other two hidden round the back with the yellow were the black and the red coopers.

It will be at the back waiting for its turn to shine. Pos because they want to show it of on its own. Not why there is a rush for any R56.

Prefering the look opf the Cooper more now I get throught he pics, the S front just looks bulbous with that cheap looking black plastic grille.
