Cheers Haggi Sep 30th, 2006, 07:20 PM do you need a 3 spoke air bag for this chris or is that part of the cost ? Fabio Sep 30th, 2006, 07:26 PM how much is shipping to ireland?? SteveM3 Sep 30th, 2006, 08:35 PM do you need a 3 spoke air bag for this chris or is that part of the cost ?
You need the 3-spoke airbag if your current steering wheel is 2-spoke. If you have a 3 spoke
the airbag and any MFSW controls can be swapped over from the old one :) . celtictricky Oct 1st, 2006, 10:01 AM You need the 3-spoke airbag if your current steering wheel is 2-spoke. If you have a 3 spoke

I have the MFSW currently - is it easy to swap over?

Hi
The MF is an easy change over,as for the airbag i would take it to your local dealer to change as they will have to switch the airbag light off because it has been disconnected

Its possible but much £££ or in your case $$$. As you'll need the steering wheel, the new airbag and the new MFSW controls. BE4TNUT Dec 31st, 2006, 03:11 AM Its possible but much £££ or in your case $$$. As you'll need the steering wheel, the new airbag and the new MFSW controls.
Are the controls the same? Would I need to do some re-wiring or anything? The MFSW is whats having me hold off on t his although I would love to do this mod. How will the new setup from my current one and does anyone know if the new controls would be plug n' play?
Thanks,
BEATNUT Damo Dec 31st, 2006, 11:59 AM MFSW on the 3 Spoke has 4 buttons (track up, down, volume up, down) for the radio and 4 buttons for Cruise Control.
MFSW on the 2 spoke has 6 buttons (Track up, down, volume up, down, source and a dead button unless you have an aftermarket radio) on back of steering wheel and 4 buttons for the Cruise Control on front of steering wheel. | |
