I'm cheesed off with my dealer... They were meant to have sent me a goodwill gesture £££ 2 mths ago now and still nothing and then they have the cheek to send me a promotional invite to the launch of the new MINI this weekend. I feel like going in and telling the dealer principal to stick his advertisment flag up his ****!!!!:aargh:

Why don't you? And at the same time, tell everyone else there just how crap the dealer is, and to stay well away.

Latest on mine is. Aftersales Manager came to see me on Tuesday. Didn't know anything about ipods. Admitted that none of the Minis at the dealership had any ipod connectors installed. Would order one and install in another car. Rattling not gone away. Aftersales guy thought it was the parcel shelf.
I'm waiting for the After Sales guy to come back to me. I'm not going to call him, lets see how long it takes for him to respond.

Well I might just do that if MINI HQ dont respond to me....

Sent an email giving them a brief rundown of the history and telling them I want someone senior to contact me and not to bounce it back to the dealership... :confused:

Custome rcommunications does not seem to be a mini dealer concern unless they want cash out of you. Is mini becoming the Easyjet of the car world?

A little more enthusiasm, like you get at the Blackpool dealer would not go amiss. My local dealer may as well be selling wholesale fish as cars for all the interest they show.

Latest for me is......
Car was looked at on the 20th November. Ipod connection, thats sorted, had loose plastic panel on passenger side (not fitted properly), thats sorted. spotlamp was loose, that was a loose rivet holding it to inside of bonnet. Thats now sorted.
Still waiting on Lind to offer me compensation or a good will gesture. Emailed Mini HQ today, just to keep them updated.

Two weeks since I sent the letter to MINI and it is still being dealt with... But after a brief conversation with someone at HQ I know that a Manager is looking into it. Waiting to hear more on Monday! :tongue:

The Lind Franchise Director phoned me last week. Couldn't offer me any money back. But did offer me the JCW sound kit for £385. Car was mean't to be picked up this morning to have this installed. Now gone 12 midday, still waiting on someone to pick the car up.

Found something else wrong with the car at the weekend. The rear brake light on the back of the roof lets in water. Noticed this when washing it, as it was full of soap suds.

My PAS reservoir is now leaking again... Which what meant to have been fixed before! :angry:

As for what's happening... MINI UK are in contact with the dealership but the principal dealer is on hols at the mo and apparantly nobody else is prepared to explain to me why things they promised haven't come to fruition! MINI haven't accepted that and have told the dealership to contact me...

But surprise surprise nothing yet! :aargh:

On the plus side the member of MINI customer service I have spoken to several times has been wonderful! V v sympathetic!:biggrin:

Actually, my Mini is going in next Wednesday for the JCW sound kit. Great discount, but I'm starting to think its jinxed and no money should be spent on it.
