has anyone had any issues with the auto tranny on a 2006 mcs when it's in D mode?
Mine seems to "BUMP" real hard from 3rd to 2nd, and I am not talking about thenormal little bump they have, this is HUGE.
Probelm is the dealer can never re create theproblem when i bring it in, and they tell me that the computer is not storring any error codes
I also cannot figure out how to recreate the problem myself, it just shows up for a while then goes away.
Anyone have a clue about this issue.

I have not had this problem with my '05 but if I can suggest: whenever I have a problem the dealer can't recreate, GO WITH THEM. Sometimes they do recreate the problem but they don't recognize it. Maybe the car is downshifting hard but they are considering it normal.

Funny that this message should occur yesterday, as over the last two days, I have noticed the same problem with my MCS. Mine occurs as you are slowing right down mainly during heavy traffic when the car is not going that fast and particularly when the air con is on.

I was thinking of taking to the dealers to get it checked, but want to see it continues before doing that as no doubt I will have the same problem as you in trying to recreate it for them.
