Second the question. Also, what about behavior on rough roads?

My question is, does anyone actually feel ANY improvement in handling with one of these fitted?

I may be cynical but they seem like a cosmetic modification to me :o

exactly what i said in one of my so called "bickering" posts that was removed. a lower brace will make so much more difference than an upper one !

I would be interested in this too...

Not to provoke, but i am one of the rare few whom actually found that it did make a difference on the mk1 mcs....

but it does make a hell of a lot of difference over an upper one.

I bought one for my husband to fit to his Cooper S. It's nice I like the new curved shape.

We both have no idea if it improves the handling never drive a car to it's limits to find out.

Anyway it looks way cool more so than the old shaped on.

With no under bonnet sound proofing to rub on to the bar this time it shouldn't get so damaged.

So if you can afford the extra £££ and not to worried what exact thing it will or will not do for you car then buy it.

How much is one anyway? Is it easy to fit yourself or do you need special torque tools to make sure you fit everything back together correctly?

Please post a pic ScottieCooop

fitted my own designed strut brace today after a day of measurement and building, its from lasercut 4 mm stainless steel, and tig welded, I only have to polish the mountingbrackets but I cannot wait to try it. I feel some difference in the handling :D
