Paul_TMQ Jun 14th, 2007, 09:26 PM Cancellation notice: We have to cancel our entire MOT2007 weekend trip. That's right, a family emergency has come that requires us to stay home through this weekend. :(
Already cancelled our reservations at the Town & Country Inn (for Friday and Saturday nights). Don't know if anyone is in need of a room there. Hope both nights go to someone (keep the inn filled).
Other 'empty slots" are one MCS with two adults on the auto road, two for the tour of the observatory and two for Friday's dinner (both Lasagnas).
Maybe next year.
Paul_TMQ snek Jun 14th, 2007, 09:32 PM :( Paul, I hope everything will turn out OK.

Sorry to hear that, Paul.
Wondering if I could claim the Obs Tickets for Bob and Donna Bluteau. Is there a wait-list or does this count as a "dibs"?
Theo :yellow: DDon670 Jun 14th, 2007, 09:57 PM show up anyway. At the very least you will meet a bunch of really cool people. Make up a badge with your screen name and wear a large pillow bulge around your midsection and just tell people you are expecting any day now!
I was expecting last year this year my MINI is almost a year old. I do look forward to meeting people tough amongst other things. GMINI Jun 14th, 2007, 10:45 PM I'm going southward this weekend. But my motoring soul will be with you all at MOT07, helping to ensure all the newbies have the best of all times. Cheers! jwardell Jun 15th, 2007, 01:52 AM Anyone have an extra 06 cling I can borrow? I've affixed all my others but for some reason my 06 clings are not with them. I'll keep digging through boxes.
Paul sorry you can't make it. I hope the emergency turns out for the better.
I'm sure there are a few wait listed though it is a bit last minute. I had someone at work interested but it was too late, I told them to contact ian but who knows if they did. Besides, anyone can pretty much show up for at least the day's driving events.
I'm not sure if I'll be able to sign in again so if not...see everyone tomorrow! Sheenabea Jun 15th, 2007, 02:24 AM yeah yeah yeah...if they've survived this far into the thread, I'm sure they're made of teflon.

Ladies and Gentlemen, this is MOT Number 5
One, two, three, four, five
Everybody in their cars lets go for a ride
to the Auto Road to round its corners.
The boys say they want sunset views
But the mountain sez it don’t take orders
Downbursts like it had last week
I might just creep because fog is deep
I like Angela, Pamela, Carol and Sheena
And as I continue you know they are getting sweeter
So what can I do I really beg you my Lord
To me motoring is a sport and keeps MoT alive
It's all good let me dump it
Please drive and don’t bump it.
Chorus:
A little bit of MINI2 in my life
A little bit of Ian by our side
A little bit of Ivan is all we need
A little bit of Richard is what I see
A little bit of Theo in the sun
A little bit of Harvey all night long
A little bit of M2 - here I am
A little bit of Beth makes us a plan
Shift up and down and drive it all around
Shake your head to the sound
Put your foot to the ground
Take one turn left and one turn right
Zip to the front and swing to the side
Honk your horn once and honk your horn twice
And if you smile like this then you are doing it right
Chorus:
I do all to fall in love with a car like you
You can run and you can slide
You and me gonna touch the sky m2smith Jun 15th, 2007, 05:40 AM (Hat -Trick)

leaving at noon, stopping by the nursing home to see the old snapping turtle, We'll be along prolly mid to late afternoon
CYA! NHRef Jun 15th, 2007, 04:42 PM From today's forecast by Observer Jon Cotton . . .
The Good:
High pressure remains with fair weather today. Low clouds and fog in the valleys this morning will burn off as the day starts. A weak low circulating off the coast could push another round of low stratus over the coastal regions this evening. Saturday brings a few weak troughs of low pressure and combined with the coastal cloud growth, there will be more clouds in southern NH tomorrow than today. Likewise the mountains will see another day with low cumulus development in the afternoon aided tomorrow by the influx of ocean moisture. The mountains also have a chance for showers late Saturday evening.
The Not So Good (if the 95 mph winds we had during MOT2 are to your liking):
Wind speeds going into the weekend will be quite low by Mt Washington standards and we could even hit periods of below 5mph sustained speeds. MGB Boy Jun 15th, 2007, 06:51 PM Time to go knock a little of the dirt off the car then hit the road. See you kids in Na Hampsha...
