Do we have to pick up the dead bodies along the way to the top?;) Imagine running to the top of Mt Washington! I get the sweats just thinking about walking it! :aargh:

the funny thing about the running race is that the runners do nearly the same times as the poor slobs on bicycles!!!

Great, Paul. This year we'll try to hit the BBQ place earlier so we don't have to wait forever!

Saw one of the last races . . . the winner completed the course averaging - averaging - 60 mph! They had a timer set up in the one section that's kinda straight and a bit short of a quarter mile - he went through there at 90 mph!

If you're REALLY interested, the White Mtn Chapter of the BMWCCA is co-sponsoring a race up the autoroad later this year.

Who was the furthest registrant in past years? Chicago's a heckuva haul, man; I came up here twice from Indy last year and it's a looooooong drive. Especially through Ohio. Ugh! :) Glad you'll be joining us, Paul!

Last year the winner was from Florida...though I'd trade places with them today in a heartbeat!

1Der is planning on coming from Wyoming this year- she couldn't make it last year, but we'll keep our fingers crossed! :)

PaulR & the Chicago crew- she was talking about stopping off in Cedar Point on the way east, if any of you are roller coaster fans.

Will she be driving here in a MINI? She needs to actually pilot a MINI or we won't let her come!

If I do the Great Ice Cream Run (http://www.thegreaticecreamrun.com/), I'll drive all the way to Florida and then all the way back to get to MOT - that has to count for something, doesn't it? :D
