A message from Yoda, cleverly translated by Michael (PR supremo of MOT!):

I can't tell you what it means, and I definitely can't tell you what it used to say ;)

I knew Yoda was smart but I didn't know he was that brilliant!

To truly release your Inner Cod one must reach deeply. Deeper than you have ever reached before. In fact, some say it has been glimpsed during a colonoscopy.

the funny thing about the running race is that the runners do nearly the same times as the poor slobs on bicycles!!!
Meh, you haven't seen ME cycling my way briskly to the top. I'll leave those little MINI cars in the dust.

Interested in joining with other MINI owners to see the sunrise from Acadia, before a rapid dash across 1-1/2 states to meet everyone else doing MINIsOnTop, and conclude your (long!) day with the sunset from Mt Washington?
Then you need to join Bar Harbor Invasion! Go here and register:
Bar Harbor Invasion: Bar Harbor Registration is NOW OPEN!!! (http://barharborinvasion.blogspot.com/2009/02/bar-harbor-registration-is-now-open.html)

Anyone have the group photos from the first Bar Harbor Invasion? That was a blast when we crammed all the MINIs together in the parking lot. Would like to see them posted.

So did anyone have any thoughts or even notice my idea of having a car show/concours/judging thing alongside the boot sale to encourage early arrivals at the loon lot? Weather permitting of course. Or does that even work when all the cars are the same?

Nah... Ian would just buy a new car and win. ;)

If you do a wash and detail just be sure to cover your CCMBF sticker. Everyone will get one in their MOT packets to place strategically on their MINI. Winner (best/closest bug splat to my right eye according to my rules) gets the big-ass multi-box of Cape Cod Potato Chips stuff.:)

Well, I was going to say, just as long as there's a 'most bugs' contest. Lo and behold, here it is! (Where's Blake? The 2004 'Most Bugs' contest winner!)

{snip}...P.S. Should this be a separate thread?

Sure, why not!

It will be a good way to field questions and answers in a unified thread. We'll announce the WNY pre-caravan caravan on the MOT Website and link to your thread.

Thanks Theo. It's now a shiny new thread.

Any chance to make it a sticky so the 5 interested drivers will be able to find it?

FYI -

In case you missed it, Josh has posted a thread (http://www.mini2.com/forum/new-york-new-england-region/135641-mot-concours-car-show.html) seeking input on whether we should have a MOT 2007 Concours/Car Show at the Loon Lot this year.

Please visit the thread and and add your $0.02 to the suggestions!
