Hi,
just a quick query about my new car which I picked up yesterday.
I've just looked at the invoice and it doesnt explicitly say it has Sports Suspension, but I do have the Chilli pack. I did ask for SS at the delaers but they may have forgotten. I also have a PDF options catalogue here which clearly sates option 226 (SS) must be explicitly asked for even when offered free with the CHilli pack.
Any ideas?
Can I check myself?
Thanks,
Rich

If it's not listed, you wont have it.

:(
Still it handles great and is actually quite stiff (and I also drive a Civic type R so I know harsh).

Hi,
I just placed my order for a Dark Silver r56 Cooper S Chilli version and I have been wondering this same thing.
I'm in Australia, so i'm not sure if that makes a difference, but according to the Australian Specifications guide for June 2007 (the printed copy at the dealership) the Chilli version of the Cooper S comes with sports suspension as standard, however I do not see sports suspension anywhere on my invoice.
With this being said, it's my understanding that the Chilli version is suppose to come with a 10 speaker hi-fi system as standard as well, and this too is not listed. Obviously when I goto pick up the car I will quite easily be able to check whether the car has the standard 6 speakers or the upgraded 10; however, since ride height is suppose to be the same with/without sports suspension I have no way of knowing whether or not they have included it.
If there are any Australian R56 Cooper S buyers who have been in a similar situation, please feel free to comment. Also, I should be picking the car up this week!! :D I can't wait!!

You get "Sport Suspension Setting" with the S Chilli in australia as standanrd:D , You cant have the Chilli model without this option.
