Just picked up a mini one cvt 02 model last week..... love driving it....unfortunately had to go to work today and ended up creeping along in the rush hour traffic ..... the car tends to start hiccuping when crawling along - and I am wondering is this me being heavy footed on the accelerator or am I missing something. Thanks for your help

Hi, yeah mine does that sometimes too.
Ive put it down to me being heavy footed. Ive also noticed in cold weather it tends to be a bit lumpy.
I dont know if this helps.
Thanks

There is a range of speed for the cvt where the transmission is not very smooth, 10-12 mph.
Generally not a worry when starting up to cruising speed, but can be a nuisance in slow moving traffic. try changing to sport mode, moving between first and second gear to smooth things out, add some challenge and distraction to being stuck in traffic
I had so much fun with my 2004 cvt 120k miles I had to donate it to my son so I could get a new auto S.
