I currently have eibach so id recommend them but i have no experience with H&R so i cant comment really!

The Eibach look great and set the car off when its lowerd, the handling is also alot better than stock!

I've got Eibachs too - they look fantastic......................................... ........................................sitting in their box in my garage :( !

Minisport had a deal on with the Eibachs - don't know if it's still on or not.

hokay... well as for me i own an R56.... unfortunately i havent' seen any Eibachs out there on the market yet... so if you have please show me :p but anyway, i have a slight bias toward eibachs because of their combo pack they make with Koni's FSD Shocks... and IMHO those two things together are as good if not better than any coilover kit you can get.

i also stay in contact with Alta Mini Performance group... they have H&R's Coilover on their show car and i know another member (no names mentioned because of confidentiality) is putting that same coilover on his R56 soon... but when it comes down to it... i think that H&R springs would work just fine for now, but if you could i'd wait for the combo of Koni FSD and Eibach springs because i can garantee you that you will not be disappointed with that combo. or just go for koni coilovers :D the only way i would suggest otherwise is if you wanted a coilover set from H&R that was their RSS version.... cuz that rivals Koni's Coilovers imo

but yeah... if you're not going to go for coilovers because of money issues or something of the nature... than in all honesty i'd say keep it stock and wait to get new shocks and/or a coilover system because that really does make a difference and will make ur stock shocks much happier as well as suspension. cuz a simple lowering may feel great but can also throw off the entire suspension geometry and you should technically get an adjustable endlink that you can lengthen when u lower the car. once again just a suggestion on my part.... if you've got any questions just throw them at me ^_^ i ususally am here...

I would say not as low as the old mk1 model. The models seem to sit much higher with the stock springs. But the car looks much better with the springs on.

I'd say 20mm drop.

I've got H&R springs on my R56 S. Can't fault them, been on for about 1,500 miles. I'd guess 20-30mm, its hard to say exactly because i never meassured before and after. Does look lower but not 'slammed' as they say on the streets.

From what i can make out its all a matter of choice, both are great products from experienced manufactures. Both with similar results in terms of looks can't comment on performace, though my S does feel more settled now but that could all be in my head!

From a company called SRB power. Cost me £135 or close to that.

SRB Power Ltd - RPS, Charge Speed, GP Sports, Rays, TEIN, DBA, BuddyClub, Ultralite, Cusco and Blitz. (http://www.srbpower.com/default.php)

They are local to where I work so picked them up. They are only a reseller, they don't fit.

Does anyone have any before and after pics of the springs fitted?

I fancy the springs but i dont think 20mm drop is enough for me... if it looks too high, i will probably wait and purchase some coilovers.

Also has anyone experienced any rubbing while havine a full car and the springs fitted?
