So whats keeping you awake:biggrin: chuntington101 Sep 7th, 2007, 06:47 AM amzing work mate! how much n2o are you spraying?? have you got any dyno graphs of the car when you gt on the gas?? also, i can see it really helping with the cooling if sprayed after the IC.
have you done any other drivetrain mods to get a better launch? is this run on drag slicks or street tyres??
sorry for all the questions,
Chris. Paul@1320 Sep 7th, 2007, 07:00 AM Its hard to control it on the dyno with nitrous even with our controller which is probably thebest one out there at the moment.
Its sprayed after the IC.
We're running a Clutch Masters twin plate clutch which is man enough to hold the torque, we also run a quaife diff as wel as Toyo slicks, we havejust modified the driveshaftsto cope with the extra power.
Never be sorry about aslking questions. Bhozar Sep 7th, 2007, 07:59 AM Paul, how have you modified the drive shafts to prevent a possible 'Loui' with that power? Loui Sep 7th, 2007, 08:51 AM Paul, how have you modified the drive shafts to prevent a possible 'Loui' with that power?

Thanks Jan for developing the best clutch on the market:D
No problem Paul!!!! Paul@1320 Sep 7th, 2007, 09:48 PM Poxy driveshafts / axles snapped on the first run of the day.
Next time you develop a clutch Kuhmo Kid can you make sure it doesn't break axles / shafts as well.
Time to get the chrome moly out:biggrin: Revolution Mini Works Sep 8th, 2007, 04:28 AM Poxy driveshafts / axles snapped on the first run of the day.

well,
If you would have bothered calling me instead of buying the clutch the way you did you wouldn't have that problem of breaking the axles. I would have set you up with the ceramic as it gives just enough to save the axles at your hp level:hmph: adamos o3,cooper s Sep 8th, 2007, 06:12 AM excellent! supercoopers Sep 8th, 2007, 09:18 PM The clutchmaster stage 3 is brilliant on the street, but for drag use, as Jan said, it would be best to use the ceramic twin plate or the stage 4 to just allow a smidgen of slip thereby saving engine mounts, axles etc :)
Cheers,
