The run will go down Highway 22x towards Bragg Creek, take a detour on twisty Highway 762, and then on to Hwy 66 (hopefully there will be no cows on the road this time) and beautiful Elbow Falls. The autumn colours should be quite nice by this time of year.

I will try to make it. Not sure though, since the baby is due any day now....

To avoid any confusion I am suggesting that the run should go on as planned on the 30th and then having another run on Oct 21. I think we have plenty of eager drivers that we can afford a second trip ;).

Gord, do you think we could contact the people who participated in the MiniRun II007 this year and let them know about the Oct 21 get together and see if we can get them out to join us for the late fall colours. I will leave this with you to decide as you have the e-mail addresses.

We usually chat and have a coffee at the meeting point before leaving. On this particular run, we're leaving after lunch, so I suggest having lunch before hand. We will be traveling convoy style, and stopping at one or two places en route for pictures, and in general just enjoy the scenery as well as motor in our MINIs. At the end, we'll stop in the parking lot at Elbow Falls and chat / take pictures / look at MINIs etc. Some of us may stop somewhere on the way back for a bite / coffee. Its all pretty informal for this run. You can probably bring the dogs with you, as long as they don't mind going motoring also. ;)
