Given your location i assume you mean start after not running for a while. We have -14C this morning and my MCS (with CD 31 installed) started 1st crank.

I was told by my servicing MINI dealer, that they are expecting MINIUSA to release CD #32 at the end of this month. Will keep everyone posted as more fixes are expected in the next DME software update.

Braman does not have a very good reputation when it comes to service and support the products they sell, particurarly their BMW and MINI product lines. I would suggest for yout to either contact Lauderdale MINI (Talk to Max Cabrera, service advisor) or contact South Motors MINI in Miami, where they also have plenty of first hand knowledge about the CD31 cold fix update for the MCS.

If I were you I would avoid Braman like the plague.
Unfortunately I do not have many options. The nearest dealer is 120 miles away and I have several to choose from with 150 miles. I need to find a dealer who services MINIs on Saturdays so I can drive out there, wait and then drive back. I called all the dealers and only Braman in West Palm Beach does Saturday services.

Brrrr.... - 14C

Yes, I said cold engine (meaning an engine that is at ambient temperatures - and certainly not up to normal operating temperature) :) Prior the software update, it was taking at least 3 - 5 cranking attempts every single time to start my S with a cold engine.

BTW, my MINI reported a balmy 76F (24C) this evening on the way home from work. :p
