While poking around the web trying to find out information about our tranny... if it is indeed the TF-60SN, produced by Aisin AW, then these links may be of value.

I've been Googling too, and I still can't work out if the gearbox is the TF-60SN or not!

From Googling, I know that miniusa.com confirms it is an Aisin AT, and that has been reported in the automotive press as well.

Aisin's website only describes two production 6-speed autos, the TF-60SN and the higher torque TF-80SC, and there is no reason to think it is the 80SC.

So it is a reasoned assumption it is the TF-60SN, even if there is no confirmation.
