I've been looking for a set of springs to lower a friend's Cooper D, but I can't find any brand which has a specific model for the Cooper D. Has anybody had lowering springs in his/her Cooper D?
Which brand to look for?

Why can't the springs be the same as a standard (petrol) Cooper R56, or am I missing something?

They can' but it isnt certain, as the PSA Diesel engine might be heavier' and the suspension might be prepped, for da' bigger torgue !

Well, as anyone can't say a thing. Let's take the straightest way. Let's send an e-mail to the companies and say what they say.
I'm gonna try with Eibach and H&R. If someone else comes up with another way and tries it, please let us all know. ;)

Looked at springs for my R56 cooper, could only find one set at £120 and were 35mm lower. Could got for the sport suspension from MINI? 25mm lower

Eibach said to use the Cooper's one.
Part number 10-57-001-03-22. This will lower the car by approx 25mm.
That's what they wrote to me.

H&R said that they've tested these ones on a diesel and worked well.
Part no 29090-1. Lowering is 30mm front and rear.

Got the H&R springs fitted a month' ago - works perfect ! NOW it's a GOKART !

Placed KW 1 ( only springs ), driving has improved and te MINI lowered 3-4cm

So KW springs also work with the stock suspension. Great! Thanks!
