Cool spec, sounds great, personally i wouldnt get the satnav, even though it looks great, it is alot of money, ive got it in my car and its not fantastic.
Strange, I was driving home tonight wondering if I'd made the wrong decision by not specifying the sat nav.
It looks so cool! Is it really that bad? I hate having to plug/unplug my TomTom every time.

Yes but think of it this way if you sell the car the satnav goes with at least with a tomtom you can put it in any car and is loads cheaper!
Wish i could afford a mini when i was 17 all i had was a suzuki alto, yes you may laugh but it was cheap and it got me from A to B and was just as nippy as a mini even if it had a 1.0L engine!

AND you can take it inside to plan your route in comfort...
AND it's so much easier to update regularly by simply plugging into it's docking port and logging on....
AND you can use it in any car you travel in (which includes the loan car the garage give you when yours is in for service)....
AND you can use it to find your way back to the car when you've parked in a strange town....
AND you can take it with you on the bus / train / boat / bicycle to keep track of where you are....
AND when it's obsolete (or it fails expensively, or you simply don't like the way the software works) you can simply bin it, or sell it and buy another; you won't be stuck with a redundant ornament in the middle of the dash....
AND the small screen is much less distracting at night....
AND the screen can be right up nearer your line of sight....
I've used both kinds of sat nav and I would never choose a fixed system again.
