Where can i find detailed specifications about the sport suspension the dealer is offering for the R56 ? I'm thinking about including it on the specs' but not sure, if it only is a set of lowering springs, lowering the car 1 inch.

Pretty sure its been posted here so try a search.

However I can tell you this, it doesn't lower the car at all and is slightly stiffer than the standard suspension but still comfortable. Think it includes thicker anti roll bars too.

The JCW dealer fit suspension does lower it a little but won't be cheap, but is supposed to be very good plus its matched to the weight of your Mini. Ride quality does seem to suffer, but I've not driven one. See Motoringfile.com for a review.

With the sport suspension being a free option with the Chilli pack its hard to say no even if you think you may replace it.

From what I can gather when asking the same question a few months ago, the SP only changes the rear roll bar for one that is slightly thicker. Every thing else is the same.

Wind Diesel,

As a matter of interest I did not order it for my July 07 MCS either. During the running-in period I did notice some rear roll, but once it had done 2K then it was OK !!

I'm pretty sure thats wrong, the ride is firmer with sport suspension. I think it has different shocks too.
