Newbie help please!

Just got my new R56 one in pepper white, very pleased!

just some stupid question regarding lights, ref- the follow me home delay lights activation.
It says in manual to flash the lights when parked, i have tried this and when i turn off the car and get out no lights! what are the parking lights? does one have to flash the lights to activate the feature all the time?

at the moment i got my lights on dipped so i unlock and my lights come on, but would like the delay feature active as well.

i think you have to remove the key then flash the lights, they stay on for a pre-set time up to 4 minutes i think

the parking lights are activated by holding indicator down until u get a message in the square message window in rev counter, this is with key removed
