Put them in the passenger seat of a good S or GP and take them for a spirited drive and then see what they say.

I love MINI, Laura

The car has a racing heritage and its a girls car - whatever! Make them do a bit of reading on the subject and then still say its a girls car!

They obviously dont see what MINIs are :).

A skyline you can only have in a JAP style,
Scooby, can only have in a JAP style,
Ford Focus....JAP/DUB
SAXO - JAP
POLO.......DUB/Euro
you see what im getting at......however.....a MINI can have so many different themes, stlyes, different color roof, different colour wing mirrors, body kits, etc etc etc or you can keep it standard and they still look awsome!

I'd just tell them to do one :)

Tell them two sorts of ppl say that, those that cant afford a Mini and those that need a d**k extension.

Also remember some poll that said the vw golf and saab 9-3 were in the top ten most searched for cars by some gay website and the mini wasnt.

Yeh I get this from time to time from my friends.....

The MINI is no more a 'girls car' than any small car - Ford Fiesta, Renault Clio, Vauxhall Corsa, etc etc. But thankfully the MINI is so much more than that. Sure I would like a RS4, or a M5, or an Aston, but on my budget I wouldn't drive anything else.

Just tell them no it isn't, it's a gay car.

i would say that more than 50% of the members on here are male.
All of the people I know love Minis and dont think it is a girls car.

It's a good looking car so in that sense it can be a bit "girly", however, any of my friends who have mentioned this I have offered a passenger ride. Those that have accepted changed their mind, those that didn't were put off by people who'd already had passenger rides lol ;)

When I first took my dad out he was sat twiddling thumbs looking worried, he said theres only one other time he does that.... at the dentist. Lets just say he's not that keen on the dentist either! :D

The Cooper S burbles, pops, bangs, screams eats most big cars on bends even a WRX owner at work couldn't understand why he couldn't pull away on a straight. Whether it's girly or not, its deffo a drivers car!

I have ever only had conflict with one person and he was trying to be smart.
This was after the car had the new wheels and was lowered.
I chose the car and I chose the LY colour.
I have had compliments from people in Evo's, Scoobs and other tuner cars in and around where I live.

Example??
red, electric blue and pepper white spring to mind...obviously this is a subjective thing.
I don't think having a "girly" car is the end of the world, one of my favourite cars is the audi TT which is also a "girly" car imo. I used to have a red ONE and admit it was a bit of a girly colour but i think I still preferred it to the dark silver I have now which is imo more manly....

Honestly.............
Who gives a *oss??

I don't care if people think it's a monkey's car - it's the car I want to own and drive!!

Mine is a CR and the St. George's cross on the UJ roof has faded to a pink - what does this mean??

Dont' really care what people think my MINI is - they probably drive a dull car anyway :D

Maybe I do think the MINI is girly on a subconscious level - I've had Astro Black and Dark Silver so far! :D

I look at it like this - I have decided that the MINI is a great car, and if you take the total population's knowledge about cars and put it to the power of infinity, it would only be approaching what I know about cars, so if I've decided it's a great car, then that's it! There's no argument!

Jeremy Clarkson likes very few cars, but one car he is never done singing the praises of (in hatchback form at least) is the MINI - I think that speaks volumes about the car.

The attention my MINI grabs from people both young and old is amazing. Everybody has a comment to make about my car. I could be driving a Bentley Continental GT and nobody would bat an eyelid, but the MINI turns heads big-time!

The MINI is one of a select group of extremely cool cars - many who own supercars like the Murcielago etc, also have a MINI in their garage - I think that says it all!

as you said, If you have a look on NAM, quite a few people have a MINI and ferraris, lamborghinis, hummers etc etc That says it all.
