Does anybody know anything about a garage in Newcastle called Fosters or Forsters, that
tune and service minis?
My dads mate reckons it's around the sheilds road area, and the guy rebuilds and races them?

Anybody shed any light?

I cant say ive hear of any 1 down there recently that does what you mention. I might have a drive down there tomorrow and have a look. I dont live too far away so not bad.

This garage had serviced the guys car, doing a superb job and remarkably cheaper than BMW! Apparently there were a few mini's that had been stripped down in the garage and he was offering to tune his car whilst it was in?

I was also going to try and head up tomorrow but live further away- on the outskirts of s/land.

He's at the Wallsend end of Shields Road, just before it turns into the High Street and round the corner form me ;) If you're going through the tunnel he's at the Newcastle end :o

He's serviced my classic mini for me and a friends polo goes there regularly :) He races MINI's and Clios as Foster Autosport and his garage is in the Yellow Pages if you need the number :) I often see MINI's being rebuilt and was tempted to get him to do some bits when I have the money. There are often MINI's/Clios being tweaked or rebuilt :)

Lara is it just up or near the block of flats/appartments on the corner, theres a pub on the ohter side of the road, near west street i think? or is it further up near the garage on the corner near logan road? If you know where i mean?

What type of stuff does he do? I didnt have time to get down today. Might be tempted to take a trip down and check his place out.

As Phil syays he's a canny bloke and the lads in the garage are helpful enough I'm sure he'd do anything you'd ask tbh, normal garage with an owner that races MINI's :D Was going to see if he's fit an LSD on the S....

There's a nice butty shop in the Inshops near the co-op if you ever have the pleasure of hanging about in Wallsend ;)
