As the title suggests, I’m trying to organise some Karting for MINI2’ers :D

This is my first run I have organised, so if I’ve missed anything out, gimmie a shout :)

I’m opening this thread to gauge interested in such an event, and if enough people show interest, we can discuss dates that can fit between other events, commitments etc.

The location would be at Superkarts, Letchworth (http://www.superkarts.co.uk/) – I’ve been to many tracks locally and nationally, and this represents good value for money, and the tracks isn’t bad either :)

The track

2 Pixmore Avenue
Letchworth
Hertfordshire
SG6 1JS

It’s an indoor track, so no need to worry about weather conditions! It does get slippier when it’s cold, so perfect time to learn all about power-sliding ;)

Team Endurance – It’s the best of the lot, but it is fairly expensive if only small numbers sign up. They are events for a set period of time ranging from one to two and a half hours. Drivers are split into teams – a maximum of eight teams for the event. The number of drivers in each team depends upon the total number of drivers. During the race each team may change drivers as many times as they wish. Trophies are awarded to the top three teams with medals for the team drivers.

We could also manage to combine an afternoon out at a pub, or go out for a drive or something before or afterwards.

I hope we can get a large a large group together :D

All ideas welcomed :)

Ignore the poll!! Sorry to have confused people!! :(

The more people we can get the cheaper it becomes :)

Yeah if there arent as many people you could just do an arrive and drive.

The last karting endurance race i did alot of people (inlcuding myself) got carbon monoxide poisoning due to being inside for so long. So hopefully that wont happen again. :o
