Was going through the folder of receipts and stuff the other day for the car and realised there is no real specification of the car. It was bought at a private used car dealer, mint condition with 17k on the clock but the first owner who bought the car brand new hadn't included the original specification. Is there a way of getting the specification of the car? If I were to get in touch with MINI would they be able to find out the full spec using the chassis no./engine no./ registration? Cheers

If you know a friendly MINI dealership ask them to print a VZAR Report for you. That will give you the original factory specification of the car.

They will also be able to print a list of every time that car has visited a MINI dealership for any work (but sadly not what work was carried out :( ).
