I have done a search but cant find anything on this subject, but apologies if I missed something and need to go to Specsavers..........

Ive got a 55reg MCS cab that I bought cherished in April 2008 which is solid black in colour...
Now, for a while something has been bugging me and Ive now realised what it is.
Depsite the car being Black II, the boot hinges are astro black metallic. Ive ordered some chrome hinges because everytime I see the colour difference it bugs me.

But has anyone else had this on their cab?

Oh and can someone provide me with any instructions to remove the old hinges and fit the new ones???

I changed mine to crome too, its ever so easy.

Please dont let the dealership charge you to fit them, mine tried to :(

There are two little lips on each side which you need to pinch in to take off the origional.They litrally clip on and clip off.

Ive now fitted these and they look so much better.

I just got a thin flat head screw driver behind the originals to pry them off the clips and then I clicked the originals on... easy 5 min job.

Remember Wiz telling me originally her dealer wanted to charge her for fitting the hinges, explained over the phone what to do, and saved her an hours dealer labour for a five minute job :p

They really do just snap on, and clip off :D
