i saw a factory sat nav screen on ebay. how or could i use this with an aftermarket in dash dvd headunit? has anyone done this??
i dont like the fact of a big screen sitting out in the dash.lol thats why im asking u techs. cheers

You can do this but need to convert the output from the DVD player into RGsB format (RGB with Sync on green).
IF the DVD player outputs RGB with sepearte Sync signal then making a simple Sync combiner circuit is easy.
The hardest part of the conversion will be replacing the Centre Instrument Pack & Column Packs and getting them coded correctly for your car.
