hi guys,

I conctated my local bmw garage and they didn't know if it was possible to fit JCW strut brace into my cooper d, dows anyone have some feedback on that issue?

I also was ondering if I could change my air filter. I saw the K&N and they said it could be fitted...
What it the advantage of a non factory air filter?

Thanks ;)

not sure if the brase cn be fitted. but the general idea of having something like a K&N filter (im presuming you mean an open cone?) over the factory box is to get golder air into the induction system so that more petrol/diesel can be put into the engine because there is more oxygen due to colder air. also it gives a distinctive sound.

I saw this one www . knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=33-2929 , in the website of k&n it said that it fits. Is this type of filter you are talking about??
If it is, will the engine noise change significantly??

thanks;)
