| : Help with fitting Gaz coilovers PR04SAT Oct 14th, 2008, 07:43 PM just bought a set of gaz coilovers for my mini and there isnt any instructions for them ive fitted the strut etc but couldnt get the top nut down enough bolt runs out of thread. has anybody got a set of assebly instructions or know how to do this, got it together but get a clunking when i turn from lock to lock, had to put a spacer in to get the nuts tight, any help would be grateful Haggi Oct 15th, 2008, 09:56 PM is that bolt that mounts the top mount to the strut top as the mini needs a special bmw tool for this theres a trick with a spark splug socked and an allen key too will try and find you a giude Darthbladerni Oct 18th, 2008, 12:40 PM is that bolt that mounts the top mount to the strut top as the mini needs a special bmw tool for this theres a trick with a spark splug socked and an allen key too will try and find you a giude Special BMW tool? Dont think so, it needs a very deep socket wrench. What bit are you stuck on with the fitting?? And with the clunking I used to have that with my first set of coilovers, and I had it for a while on my current coilovers, it turned out to be the top mount bolts tightened too much as well as the main nut for the top mount to strut.
