I have lots :p

They printed on my JCW brake calipers, and on the carbon trim on my steering wheel, handbrake and gearknob... then there's one on my strut brace :p

None on the bodywork though, 'cos it's not a Works ;)

A man after my own heart, the car badges are for when the engine is tuned and when MINI say to fit them;)

JCW 210 MCS - badges on front and back and in the process of adding more to keep the ones on the seats, steering wheel, hand brake, gear knob..... all company! :)

I have logos on my door sills and brake calipers. But no badges per se - I can't afford them at £1500ish a pop :p

Yeah right, mind they aren't as elitist as they used to be in the old'en days;)

Well the GP's a no brainer, it comes with the badges.

My S has front and rear badges, wheel caps and exhaust trim badges, I know other people with far less JCW parts never mind any engine modifications on their car having the badges fitted, so why not.

Because as you've already said its an S not a JCW;)

Why not stick a D on there or a One:p

At £3.5k there needed to be some elitism going on...:p

Just cause you've got one doesn't mean you can stick them on the other MINI, I didn't feel the need to;)

Learner? Nope, been driving for ages now:p

Didnt realise JCW did a loo door - although other manufacturers do make them cheaper, its the heritage behind JCW which makes it's loo doors stand out for me plus it doesn affect your warranty :D

Got JCW badges on most items as it is a JCW with almost every JCW option, Dont agree with people having badges if they dont have the offical JCW tuning kit (each to there own though)

Pointless argument if youve got the badge on your wheels, your exhaust, airbox etc. At end of the day its a modification. its different from standard and thats the whole point of modification to be different, little point having a OEM car same as next person.

At end of the day, its not your car, not your problem so buzz aff. My opinion.

But the problem is it devalues the brand, particularly for those who actually have a Works vehicle and its this carelessness by BMW in the same way it treats its M range that has caused such large defections to other manufacturers.

Quite why people want to pretend they have something they don't isn't something I understand but there you go.

Not having a dig at anyone here, but...

How I am devaluing the brand I dont know, because when my car is sold it will be put back to stock minus the badges so its not as if i'm flooding the market with a fake jcw.

Also GP second hand values have not been helped any by BMW keeping more exclusivity on its parts, so thats not entirely a valid argument either.

The JCW was seen as an option by some second hand dealers and options dont help a cars second hand value that much.

Seems to me that some JCW owners have a bit of sobery going on, bit like classic owners used too, towards the new Mini.

Nothing, rakey said why did I feel the need to put JCW badges on when he didnt.

I didnt pick a convertible for same reason, cause I didnt want to!

My car makes me happy and thats all that matters, I wont be losing any sleep over it.
