Had my brand new Mini Cooper since June and its always had this banging rattle coming from the nearside rear when on rough road surfaces. Been back to dealers many times and they eventually replaced the shock. The worst of the banging disappeared after that but there is still a low level bang/rattle on rough surfaces. Can't face going back yet again at the moment. Has anyone else had this problem and know what the solution is?

I had a knock from the rear in mine which you could hear only at low speed.

The replaced anti-roll bar bushes and some top mount bush on both sides, cured the problem.

mine is reeeaallyyy noisy when i park on a hill!
