I've posted a couple of threads on here related to a strange noise coming from the engine in my Cooper D. It sounds like a rattle\belt noise and is really annoying. It stays at the same rate and volume no matter how many revs are being produced etc.
The technician thinks it's one of the belts but could also be the water pump. He said they'd had two other Cooper D's with the same issue in the past few weeks.
It's booked in next week for two days. They're completely stripping the engine on the first day and testing it on the second.
Really impressed with Rochdale Williams BMW once again... well, as long as they fix it :p
